- ** Performs role of medical review Coordinator for assigned team(s)**
- Ensures all medical team members are trained and adhere to the review processes and procedures
- Ensures materials are submitted, routed, approved and released in accordance with the responsibilities and timelines outlined in the SOP
- Coordinate relationships between materials, for example ensuring that nomenclature and Job Codes are correct, and making certain that relevant associated materials are connected in the electronic system metadata
- Identifies issues of noncompliance and helps identifies solutions to share with management as needed
- Ensures medical materials are archived and expired in accordance with SOP
- Manages expedited review process
- Facilitates change management to drive alignment of stakeholders to common goals and best practices
- ** Other responsibilities include**:
- Coordinates the Medical Affairs contract process for routing and storing legal contracts in Ipsen’s electronic system. Engage with external suppliers, conduct Due Diligence in partnership with Business Ethics, negotiations and contracts.
- Oversees Patient Support Programs (PSP) vendor interactions and systems registries and approvals
- Coordinate with the Therapeutic Area leads, global medical and across functions within the medical matrix on implementing best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency for assigned tasks and to support the medical programs.
- Review and update medical-related SOPs and policies in partnership with medical and non-medical teams annually or as appropriate - guaranteeing compliance with Mx regulations and Ipsen policies.
- Identify opportunities for processes optimization (in relation to the scope of work) and lead the change and implementation
- Coordinates financial control of the medical area activities, ensure adequate provisioning, and allocate expenditures
- Work with Business excellence and field teams managers in implementing and continuously reviewing field metrics.
- Support therapeutic areas, patient affairs, pharmacovigilance, and clinical research in operational activities.
- Ensure close collaboration with Legal and Business Ethics to maintain ethical scientific engagements - ensuring adequate registries of medical activities in accordance to Ipsen´s and local legislations and audits preparations.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Business administration, Pharmaceutical or correlated areas degree
- Experience:
- 2-3 years of relevant pharmaceutical/medical affairs experience preferred, such as involvement, creating dashboards, etc.
- Experience with developing, reporting, and tracking research and medical performance metrics and able to train/develop staff in these areas
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in Spanish
- Fluent in writing and verbal in English
