**Your task and Responsibilities**
- Lead all manufacturing activities (intermediates & API´s products) in chemical plant to produce safe and high-quality products at competitive costs and high efficiency, fulfilling local and international regulations, meeting customer needs.
- Safety: Guarantee “0 accidents” by taking all appropriate measures (e.g., behavior-based safety, implementation of process, plant & machinery safety, occupational health, and industrial safety programs, learning organization). Quality: Ensure compliance with internal, national, and international norms and guarantee stable processes, with a special focus on “right-first-time”.
- Engineering: Guarantee proper operation and maintenance of equipment, instruments, and facilities together with engineering area. Achieve optimal use and maintenance of equipment and infrastructure, and coordinate projects to ensure the highest technical standards at a competitive cost.
- Supply Chain: Ensure meeting of customer needs in close collaboration with the planning department, with a focus on changing demands. Ensure that the production plan is carried out within established times and costs.
- Strategic projects & Finance: Lead the strategic development of the area by defining and implementing of projects (e.g., new technologies, new products, digitalization, flexibility). Plan and manage the operating expenses (OPEX), guarantee competitiveness of the site by meeting all relevant KPIs.
- Operational Excellence - PSS (Product Supply System) Ensure continuous improvement culture with a strong focus on efficiency (e.g., OEE) and on strengthening of the culture of Operational Excellence by acting as a role model for the Asset Ownership Pillar (Heart model, performance dialogue, gembas...). Ensure that PSS methodology is cascaded through the Production organization.
- People & culture: Develop operations personnel, by ensuring talent attraction, training, and coaching of competencies and by building a high-performance culture.
- Drive Operational Excellence, GMP, LIFE values and Corporate Compliance as part of the company culture.

**Who you are**:
**Education**: Pharmaceutical / chemical degree (e.g., QFB, Chemical, Engineer, Biochemistry Engineer, related master’s degree desirable) or equivalent degree.

**Languages**: Spanish, English advanced (able to interact in forums at a global level).

**Experience**: At least 5 years in pharmaceutical or chemical industry as plant, production and/or packaging manager.

**Knowledge**: Leading groups/departments, local and International pharmaceutical regulations, GMPs, lean & 6 sigma tools, digital concepts, investment projects, OPEX & CAPEX.

**Skills**: leadership and communication skills, project management experience, results-oriented, managing complexity, personnel management, strong focus on continuous improvement, high flexibility and adaptability for problem solving. Develop team with high-performance mindset.
