**About the role**

THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL DO

The SAM Tool Technical Lead will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance and lifecycle of AstraZeneca’s SACM toolsets. This will involve supporting all team members on automation and reporting, and may involve working closely with third party suppliers. The role will also be involved in providing recommendations on enhancements, monitoring the performance and support maintenance of deployed solutions.
- Operate and maintain existing SACM toolsets
- Design and develop new integration, automation and reporting solutions
- Participate in projects introducing new SACM toolsets, or new integrations
- Analyze and understand IT data and help to improve IT data quality
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure our systems are robust
- Assists the SAM Lead and SACM team in automating manual activities in SACM toolsets

**You will need to have**

**Education, Qualifications, and Experience**

**Essential**
- 15 yrs of Experience in the IT Industry
- Prior experience in working and support SQL Databases (2012 & higher)
- Proven experience of working with Analytical tools: PowerBI
- Evidence of designing, shaping and implementing Innovative integration solutions and driving any changes

**Desirable**
- Well versed in ITIL V3.0 practices and process
- Data Engineering understanding

**Skills and Capabilities**

**Essential**
- Good communication skills supporting joint working with geographically remote colleagues
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language
- Proven track record of executing change across a large enterprise
- SQL Database Administration
- Experience with data extraction methods
- Experience with Dashboarding tools, Tableau, Power BI, any other is a must

**Desirable**
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of the external market
- Demonstrate initiative, strong customer orientation, and cross-cultural working
- Experience with ITAM tools such as ServiceNow SAM/HAM Pro, Flexera FNMS, SNOW
