Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Buyer.

**What you’ll do**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:
Ensure timely deliveries of all non-production materials (MRO) and services, interfacing directly with suppliers and negotiating prices, always adhering to legal and internal control processes.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:
A. Monitor and ensure that in house suppliers provide integrated sourcing, evaluating their performance through Eaton controls and follow up.

B. Assists plant requirements developing, maintaining and fostering strong relationship with suppliers and also for identification, RFQs for indirect materials and services, focusing mainly on new supplier requests for SLP new projects

C. Participates in or contributing to get integrators cost out objectives.

D. OEA active participation as auditor

E. Manage and perform twice a year evaluation for critical suppliers through users service surveys, feedback and action plans that help to maintain the best supplier performance service

F. Support with new contract processes including NDA DPA

G. Control processing orders, MRO consignment, shipments, request for quotes (RFQs), PO’s creation, and bidding process, etc.

H. Attend internal customers and Requisitions Support to Users

I. Review and solves on hold invoices markview on a timely manner for all SLP ledgers

J. Process set ups (new suppliers, changes for TCO Mexico and Monterrey)

K. Promotes the company’s vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.

L. Support with suppliers’ new evaluations processes required due to different audit requirements like DNV, OEA, SOX, MESH, OPA.

**Qualifications**:
A. Bachelor’s degree in business, administration or related.
B. Minimum 2 years in purchasing
C. English - language capability, speaking, reading & writing required
D. Customer service
E. Must be proactive and results oriented
F. Cost analysis, negotiation skills, communications skill, foreign purchasing management and coordination
