**Responsibilities**:
**GBS Design Manager**

**Main Purpose**

Global Business Services (GBS) organization has been established to provide efficient and effective services to PepsiCo businesses globally, for all sectors. To enable transformation across PEP and GBS, GBS is standing up consulting Design project engagement teams to create the future state for Design capability within GBS across people, process, and technology.

This role will manage and coach Design teams to scope and deliver Design phase engagements according to the latest methodology and following Design Playbooks. He/She will work with senior stakeholders from various sectors and functions, and integrate other enabling workstreams including Process Excellence, Enterprise Service Management, Transitions, HR, IT, Finance, among others.

This Manageral role will coordinate all activities related with GBS Design process and manage/ navigate Design teams /consultants to drive specific Design tasks from start till successful handover to Transition team.

The role will perform Design approach analysis and recommendations for the Service Delivery of functional services, program management responsibilities. Activities in support of this include: alignment of scope with Global Functional Service Catalog and drive consistency across Sectors as well as drive integration across the functions in case scope is split between different function in various sectors or Services are cross Functional. Ensures and establish integration within enabling functions ie. program planning including consolidation of multiple complex project plan inputs, risk management, key decision documentation, management of interdependencies across business functions, change management and communications, IT, and HR, and executive status reporting.

This role will require a high degree of transformational thinking coupled with people management and stakeholder’ influencing skills.

**Accountabilities** / Responsibilities**
- Design program and project management_
- _Engage with Senior Stakeholders in advance of Design Phase, to ensure GBS vision and strategy is well understood, and all key stakeholders are aligned and supportive._
- _Support Sector/Function Design team with step by step Design approach, guidance ensuring standard global approach is followed with all necessary decision gates and milestones followed._
- _Develop and drive for implementation the holistic Design project and service delivery concept of operations and integrated initiative specific work plans, reflecting more granular dependencies, milestones, deliverables and deployments. Makes decisions to identify critical risks/issues and implement transformation plans that impact the overall timeline and economic delivery of the GBS transformation program_
- _Lead and facilitate leadership engagement for a specific design workshops/ discussion for in-scope Sector (s) and Functions, and coordinate various workstreams to deliver results according to the plan._
- _Lead creation of Design deliverables during Design engagement: Update to Taxonomy (Service Catalog), time allocation, busuness case etc., and ensure all Design outputs are aligned and delivered on time to respective senior stakeholders._
