Support and drive Data Governance operational model
- Implement and operationalize Data Governance roadmaps including strategic priorities for development for data led capabilities.
- Drive data stewardship program and facilitates stewardship activities working closely with Domain Leads.
- Lead our data taxonomy in an operational scale to ensure data is easy to find and consume based on persona.
- Roll out the framework to all domains with a focus on data inventory, ownership and stewardship for standards, principles, metrics, processes, related tools (Collibra) and workflows.
- Participate and lead operations in data governance audit processes.
- Develop and maintain inventory of enterprise information maps, including authoritative sources, owners and retention policies.
- Lead and scaleprogram level initiatives linked to Data Governance
- Operate as a platform and capability owner across the DG domains, including vendor/contract/budget management linked to solutions such as; Collibra (meta-data management and cataloging)
- Provide leadership to Takeda for Data Governance services across all domains at senior levels of the organization
- Partner with Takeda leadership and external partners in building the roadmap for data governance and digital disruption and innovation driving business value.
- Drive operationalized capabilities that can enable new business models to be activated across Takeda based on a best-in-class, trusted and compliant data-governance baseline
- Develop KPI’s and SLA’s confirming that the Takeda Data Catalog and Data Services model is available, communicated, understood and utilized effectively in pursuit of business objectives and strategic vision
- Collaborative operational engagement with leadership to enable a team focused on the delivery of data micro-services that address data access, data ingestion, and data availability challenges that unleash the opportunity of a truly integrated data-fabric for Takeda
- Drive and develop operational support for Data Governance focusing on a ICC (Innovation Capability Center (ICC) model within the Enterprise Data Services group
- Develops key performance indicators related to key data processes and data quality, and monitor and report on observed process performance.
- Domain knowledge of Data, Digital and Technology organizations preferably within pharmaceuticals or related industries
- Track records in managing complex supplier and/or customer relationships
