**Professional bachelor's degree**
- BA/BS in Electrical Engineering/Materials Management or Supply Chain with 10+ years of experience.
- Preferably a Master’s Degree or MBA with 5+ years of experience.

**Experience (Years of experience in the position)**
- 3-5 years as Director at least or equivalent experience.

**Technical knowledge**
- 7+ years experience in the Metals and Electronics fields is preferred
- Expert in Sourcing and Procurement
- Strong negotiation skills

**Main **Responsibilities**
- Manage daily supply activities for the main site UTEC, located in Mexico, and other global sites to support operation continuity.
- Provide buyers with guidance and solutions for supply-related issues
- Manage material productivity, payment term improvement, on-time deliveries, low-cost country sourcing, dual sourcing, contract (short form, long term agreements, one page), supplier rationalization on the site level while tying to overarching commodity/category strategies
- Manage supplier relationship on-site/regional level
- Act as a strong team player to drive global initiatives, leverage the supply base to meet the company’s procurement requirements related to quality, delivery and cost while optimizing inventory and assets management.
- Negotiate and award purchase orders/contracts in support of new product launches and existing production requirements. Lead site level/regional level bids, e-bids, and other negotiation strategies
- Support process improvement and standardization across sites
- Generate value, productivity, and achieve financial commitments through the execution of effective strategies in the supply chain and unmatched negotiations (Schedule A) and top leadership of projects (Schedule B)
- Work with the commodity team for supplier selection on a commodity basis and work with the buyers to implement these sourcing decisions.
- People leader - direct responsibility for sourcing managers and buyers. Provide coaching and guidance.
- Focus in cost quality delivery.
