We're Hiring Operations Bookkeeper (Remote)

At Terra Energy , we're looking for a highly proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical Operations Bookkeeper to support our field operations with top-tier financial accuracy and accountability.

If you're someone who naturally raises your hand when something doesn't add up, enjoys digging into numbers, and thrives in a fast-moving operational environment — this role is for you.

Role Purpose

The Operations Bookkeeper ensures accurate handling of daily expenses, vendor invoices, installer payments, and financial documentation tied to our installation operations. This role is crucial in maintaining financial clarity, preventing errors, and supporting smooth field execution.

Key Responsibilities

Expense & Reimbursement Management

• Review, validate, and organize receipts, mileage logs, and field expenses

• Apply policies correctly (gas, meals, tools, mileage, insurance, etc.)

• Reconcile discrepancies and escalate when something doesn't make sense

Vendor Invoice Control & Payment Tracking

• Log and classify vendor invoices tied to installations and subcontractors

• Match invoices to the correct job ID/folio

• Track pending or overdue payments and coordinate with Finance

• Communicate with vendors to clarify missing or duplicate charges

Installer Payment Support

• Verify installer submissions and job-related expenses

• Flag missing evidence or incorrect reports

• Maintain visibility of payment status for Operations Leads

Operational Reporting & Data Integrity

• Produce weekly summaries of expenses and discrepancies

• Maintain accurate records across systems

• Support audits and improvements to financial controls

Cross-Department Collaboration

• Work closely with Finance, Operations, Install Tech Leads, Scheduling & Procurement

• Ensure financial information is complete, accurate, and timely

Remote (Mexico)

Salary Range: $15,000 - $20,000 monthly.
