- Develop and implement procurement strategies to align with company objectives in the agro-industrial / food processing industry.

- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings and quality improvements.

- Oversee procurement and supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in procurement practices.

- Monitor compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business goals.

- Lead and develop the procurement team, fostering a results-driven environment.

- Optimize inventory management and reduce waste across the supply chain.

Perfil buscado

A successful Director de Procurement should have:

- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain processes within the agro-industrial / food processing industry.

- Strong negotiation and leadership skills.

- Have experience in buying futures contracts.

- Knowledge of procurement regulations and market trends.

- Proficiency in relevant procurement and supply chain software.

- Their core experience should be in direct materials, and they must manage an annual spend of more than USD 150M.

- A master's degree is a plus.

- Having experience purchasing corn, flour, and other raw materials is also considered a strong advantage.
