Janssen is recruiting for an Agile Procurement Director for our Janssen Latin America business.

**The Director, LATAM Agile Procurement will be accountable for ensuring alignment between Procurement strategy, Janssen's Business Plan, and critical Therapeutic Teams for the Latin America region. This role requires a leader that is a strong relationship builder, strategic problem solver and influencer. **This role is accountable for two primary objectives**:
Ensuring that the Procurement organization delivers results in support of Janssen strategies and objectives. The role works to align Procurement's activities directly with:

- the leadership team of the International Vice President that leads the LATAM Pharmaceuticals business,
- country managing directors,
- regional business leaders, and
- regional finance director.

Leading operational execution of the commercial categories, and other categories when required, and their respective strategies, regionally, for Janssen.

**Responsibilities**:

- Direct and manage a team of 6 people located in various countries whose responsibility it is to understand the Janssen business and connect this with category strategies, ensuring optimal use of suppliers
- Build and manage relationships across Janssen that result in dynamic dialogue, a broad range of perspectives and information critical to the development of efficient approaches and solutions
- Engage directly with budget owners at the Vice President & President level to drive business planning and strategic decision making across all relevant category spend families
- Understand long range (3-5 year) requirements for Janssen Commercial teams identified through strategic planning to guide development of category strategies and Procurement process
- Identify business demand requirements and partner with Category Leaders to deliver annual value improvements and drive competitive advantage through the supplier base
- Identify pharmaceutical industry trends that Procurement must build into its category strategies to ensure sustainable relevance to Janssen
- Ensure new product launches are supported and prioritized within the category teams. Will work across all sales and marketing Categories, Global Services and Therapeutic Areas to ensure seamless execution to launch commitments
- Lead resolution of sophisticated business problems in partnership with our supplier base including deployment of Supplier Enabled Innovation programs
- Continuously monitor the needs of the business to ensure their requirements are met and implement Procurement process improvement where critical to achieve the same.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors degree
- Languages: English (must have) Portuguese and Spanish desired.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in direct or indirect procurement
