We're seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to generate a qualified pipeline and drive Alcatraz AI's growth.
Role Overview
The Inside Sales Representative will play a critical role in driving Alcatraz AI's revenue growth by developing new pipeline opportunities and nurturing early-stage prospects. You will be the first point of contact for many potential customers—educating them on Alcatraz AI's products, uncovering needs, and working closely with the field sales team to convert qualified leads into customers.
This role requires exceptional communication skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Success in this position will be measured by your ability to generate qualified opportunities, maintain CRM accuracy, and contribute to the overall success of the sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Engage with inbound leads and execute outbound prospecting campaigns to generate new sales opportunities across target industries
- Opportunity Management: Qualify prospects through discovery calls, identify key stakeholders, and determine business needs and buying readiness
- Pipeline Development: Maintain a consistent flow of qualified opportunities by leveraging tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and intent data platforms
- Quote Management: Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals for customers, ensuring alignment with pricing guidelines and approval processes
- Renewals: Manage customer renewal cycles by proactively engaging existing accounts, identifying expansion opportunities, and securing timely renewals
- Collaboration: Partner with sales directors, marketing, and SDR teams to execute coordinated outreach campaigns and ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads
- Customer Education: Effectively communicate Alcatraz AI's value proposition and product capabilities through virtual meetings, demos, and presentations
- CRM Discipline: Keep detailed and accurate records of prospect interactions, opportunity stages, quotes, and forecasting data within the CRM system
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to sales process optimization by sharing insights from customer conversations, renewals data, and competitive trends
Qualifications
- 3+ years of inside sales, SDR, or business development experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or physical security industries
- Proven success in exceeding lead generation and pipeline goals
- Experience managing renewals and creating sales quotes or proposals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative, customer-first approach
- Experience with HubSpot (or similar CRM), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales automation tools
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
