We are hiring a full-time CFO to run all financial operations across two companies in the MCA space. The first company is a funding company, the second is a brokerage. This role owns the books, cash management, tax compliance, reporting, and lien/commission/wire processes end-to-end. You must have direct MCA experience, deep accounting knowledge, and the ability to run a high-volume finance operation with precision. You will manage and oversee an offshore team while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. Full-time. Fully remote. Must be ENGLISH-SPEAKING.Hours: 9am – 5pm EST
Salary: $4,000/moKey Responsibilities:
- Own all accounting and bookkeeping across both entities (funding & brokerage).
- Record and reconcile journal entries across multiple bank accounts and credit cards.
- File UCC liens for funded deals and track lien releases.
- Manage and run payroll, commissions, wires, and payouts.
- Maintain and optimize the CRM financial systems (OrgMeter + Cloudsquare on Salesforce).
- Monitor cash daily, move funds strategically, and maximize returns through safe, short-term vehicles (MMAs, CDs, etc.).
- Review and manage weekly financial activity and vendor payables.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting: cash flow, P&L, balance sheet, upcoming liabilities.
- Track funding deals, expected revenue, cost of capital, and broker commissions.
- Oversee offshore accounting team and ensure accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
- Maintain tight controls and catch discrepancies immediately.
- Support tax prep and ensure books are 100% audit-ready.
- Proactively identify process gaps and enforce clean financial systems.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in accounting or finance leadership roles.
- Must have MCA finance/accounting experience — non-negotiable.
- Expert-level bookkeeping and QuickBooks proficiency.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and tax accounting for small businesses.
- Proven experience filing UCC liens, running payroll, and sending wires/commissions.
- Comfortable managing multiple bank accounts and high-volume transactions.
- Strong experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Ability to oversee offshore finance staff and drive accountability.
- Highly organized, fast, and detail-obsessed — zero errors tolerated.
- Analytical and confident explaining numbers to leadership.
- Must own and be able to use a working computer with high-speed internet.
- Must be ENGLISH-SPEAKING.
Nice to Have:
- Salesforce/Cloudsquare/OrgMeter experience.
- Background in financial services or lending operations.
- Experience scaling finance processes in a high-volume environment.
