CONSTRUCTION PROJECT SUPERVISOR (Guadalajara Based Position)

Planet Water Foundation (PWF), is a non-profit organization devoted to providing access to safe drinking water to impoverished communities. Through the installation of our community-based water filtration systems, handwashing infrastructures, and the implementation of our Water-Health & Hygiene Education programs, we direct our attention to two critical areas: supporting schools, children, and local communities in Latin America and the Asia-Pacific regions, as well as the provision of safe drinking water in the aftermath of natural disasters worldwide. PWF is looking for applicants to fill the position of Construction Project Supervisor, Mexico.

The Construction Project Supervisor will will have the following primary responsibilities:

- Project Deployments: Leads the construction and installation of water filtration systems in schools and community settings.
- Training & Support: Acquires installation, operating, and maintenance knowledge of PWF's water filtration systems and provides training and support to recipient beneficiaries.
- Sustainability: Monitors the ongoing condition of projects after deployment and defines and facilitates appropriate corrective action to assure sustainability.
- Programs: Oversees and manages the organization's in-country program / project activities.

Essential requirements for this position are as follows:

- University graduate with at least 5 years of related working experience.
- Aptitude and desire to direct and be involved in mechanical and construction related work.
- Ability and desire to work and travel to project locations across Mexico (approximately 50%) with occasional international travel.
- Complete fluency in both English and Spanish as a mandatory requirement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Computer literate including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
