Mistakes are owned quickly. Results determine trust, responsibility, and compensation. Role Overview The Video Editor is responsible for producing conversion-focused video ads quickly and accurately. This is not a "make it look cool" role. This role exists to support performance. If videos are slow, sloppy, or require heavy revisions, this role is failing. Core Responsibilities 1. Speed & Execution - Deliver video edits on time, every time - Hit agreed turnaround times consistently - Manage workload efficiently across multiple creatives 2. Quality & Iteration Follow briefs precisely Implement feedback cleanly and fast Maintain high standards for: Grammar Audio Color Cuts and pacing Proactively suggest editing improvements based on: Trends Experience Competitors Performance feedback KPIs (How Performance Is Measured) Primary KPIs (Direct Control): Turnaround time First-pass approval rate (percentage of videos approved on first review without major revisions) Secondary KPIs (Influence): Creative win rate Breakthrough rate CPL Expectations - Speed without sacrificing quality - High attention to detail (this is critical) - Clean version control and file organization - Open to direct feedback - Ability to execute, not debate - Understand that performance matters more than aesthetics - Continuous improvement based on data and feedback Qualifications - Proven experience editing short-form performance videos - Experience editing ads for paid traffic (Meta, TikTok, YouTube preferred) - Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, and retention - Comfortable working from briefs - Familiar with UGC-style content and native platform formats - Portfolio or examples of ad creatives required.
