Role Overview

The Regional Head – Puebla will represent Decklar's global operations in Mexico and Latin America. This individual will lead a multidisciplinary team of 12–20 engineers and operations staff, drive customer success and technical excellence, and serve as the bridge between our customers, product engineering, and leadership teams.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a technically strong engineer with proven experience in startups, a passion for customer engagement, and the ability to mentor and inspire teams while managing execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a regional team of engineers and customer success professionals to deliver high-quality technical outcomes.
- Customer Engagement: Serve as the regional face of Decklar, conducting demos, technical presentations, and onsite solution deployments with key customers.
- Technical Product Success: Ensure the successful implementation, reliability, and scalability of Decklar solutions; act as the local escalation point for technical and operational challenges.
- Collaboration with Product & Engineering: Work closely with global product and engineering teams to relay customer insights, drive feature improvements, and ensure alignment with roadmap goals.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee local delivery operations, project execution, and quality assurance; develop and enforce best practices for solution deployment.
- Strategic Growth: Represent Decklar in regional forums, customer meetings, and business reviews; contribute to expansion strategies across Latin America.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Science, or related field). Master's degree preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in technical or engineering leadership roles, preferably in IoT, SaaS, or industrial technology sectors.
- Proven experience managing a team of 12–20 people.
- Strong customer-facing experience—able to present, demo, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver customer outcomes.
- Hands-on problem solver with a startup mindset—comfortable wearing multiple hats and thriving in ambiguity.
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently locally and internationally.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
