Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAE Engineer to support structural analysis activities for off-highway and agricultural equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in finite element analysis (FEA), including linear and non-linear simulations, and will work closely with design teams to ensure robust and reliable product performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis on off-highway and agricultural products
- Conduct static linear and non-linear simulations, including handling multiple non-linearities
- Develop and converge non-linear FE models efficiently
- Perform bolt joint analysis and interpret results
- Define and implement FE methodologies based on project requirements
- Review, interpret, and present analysis results to design engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design decisions
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong background in structural FEA for heavy equipment or similar products
- Hands-on experience with linear and non-linear analysis techniques
- Solid understanding of machine design fundamentals and strength of materials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Tool Knowledge
- Structural Analysis: HyperMesh, HyperView, OptiStruct and/or Abaqus
- Fatigue Assessment: TFAT, FEMFAT, nCode, or similar tools
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
