This Position reports to:
Business Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the local management of all project execution activities in the area of responsibility. Each day, you will ensure operations are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by coordinating and overseeing team development and standardized process development to continually improve the effectiveness of Project Execution teams.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Project Automation - Energy Division in Mexico.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Leading the implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for local or regional Project Operations.
- Ensuring that the portfolio of projects is managed consistently based on best practices and ABB policies, controls, and requirements.
- Overseeing and leading the local Project Execution team, ensuring that ABB policies are consistently followed.
- Supervising project execution and performance management through project reviews with the management and Project Managers to ensure contract fulfillment and approving any project deviations.
Qualifications for the role
- You are immersed working with Program and Project Operations Management and the Process Automation market
- You have five years of experience in Program and Project Operations Management working as Project Operations Manager with Process Automation technologies.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of Program and Project Operations Management.
- You are passionate about leadership, people development, strategic thinking.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Control and Automation, Electronics, Mechatronic, or related)
- Proven experience of Program and Project Operations in Process Automation technologies.
- You are at ease communicating in English.
