Main Purpose

To drive the adoption and effective use of AI as a strategic innovation enabler across the entire product development lifecycle, with a strong focus on delivering consumer-centric solutions. This role ensures that AI capabilities are integrated in our end to end product innovation processes to enhance consumer understanding, improve decision-making, accelerate time-to-market, and unlock new growth opportunities, while fostering a strong innovation mindset within the organization.

Key Resposibilities

AI Research & Scouting

- Continuously monitor, research, and assess emerging AI technologies, tools, and methodologies relevant to NPD (new product development) and the end-to-end innovation process.
- Identify and evaluate external business cases and benchmarks to inspire AI integration opportunities.
- Translate global AI trends into actionable recommendations for the organization.
- Collaborate with consumer insights teams to align AI research with unmet consumer needs and market dynamics.

AI Integration & Enablement

- Identify, test, and implement AI solutions that support key innovation activities (e.g., synthetic personas, market research, trend analysis, concept development, user testing, launch planning, and creative asset generation).
- Work alongside cross-functional teams (Marketing, Innovation, Trade Marketing, R&D) to integrate AI into existing workflows, processes, and toolkits.
- Support pilots, experimentation, and proof-of-concept initiatives using AI throughout the NPD process.
- Ensure AI integration creates measurable value for both internal stakeholders and end consumers.

Capability Building & Advocac

- Act as an internal advocate and subject-matter expert for AI-driven innovation enablers.
- Develop and deliver internal training, demos, or guides to help teams understand and adopt AI tools effectively.
- Promote a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and responsible AI use within the innovation community.
- Provide training and guidance on how to leverage AI ethically and responsibly, with clear benefits for consumers and the business.

Collaboration & Impact Tracking

- Partner with regional business units and functions to identify specific needs and co-create AI-based solutions.
- Monitor and report on the impact of AI tools on innovation outcomes (e.g., speed to market, consumer insights quality).
- Support continuous improvement by collecting feedback and iterating on AI tool usage and integration.

Minium Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field such as Innovation, Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Professional and Conversational working proficiency in English - verbal and written.
- 2-4 years of experience in roles related to Innovation, Digital Transformation, Marketing Analytics or AI application in business contexts.
- Hands-on experience applying AI or advanced digital tools to solve business challenges, ideally in consumer goods or related industries.
- Experience working in cross-functional or with multi-national teams.
- Exposure to new product development (NPD) or marketing innovation processes, as well as to consumer-centric methodologies, is is highly desirable.
- Understanding of AI tools, technologies, and trends relevant to consumer goods innovation (e.g., generative AI, predictive analytics, synthetic persona creation, trend analysis).
- Ability to evaluate, test, and implement AI solutions for business use cases — from idea generation to launch support.
- Familiarity with innovation methodologies (e.g., racu, agile frameworks) and how AI can enhance these processes.
- Comfortable with data interpretation, insight generation, and storytelling using AI-enabled outputs.
- Good understanding of data governance, privacy, and ethical AI considerations.
