GENERAL FUNCTION

Acts as main information and reporting resource for the Distribution Planning team. The Sr.Analyst demonstrates attention to detail and possesses critical thinking skills to produce accurate and insightful analysis. Responsibilities include analyzing performance focused on key business metrics, implementing new functionalities to automate processes (i.e. working on projects for continuous improvement) and ensuring the achievement of service levels for the different channels. The Senior Analyst will work closely with different stakeholders in the organization (Sales, Corporate Distribution Planning, Operations, Transportation, Finance, Procurement Planning) to correctly convey priorities of the business.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepares daily/weekly/monthly reports utilizing various planning systems, SAP, Business Objects, etc., continually modifying to meet new business requirements. Uses advance analytics to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the preparation of these reports
- Manipulates data and builds KPIs to provide insights to leadership on various topics
- Works with Corporate Distribution Planning team to prioritize specific shipments or to organize deliveries for Distribution Centers of other regions
- Works with sales team to understand future priorities and to analyze the feasibility of retrieving missing inventory from other channels
- Fulfills allocation and delivery creation requests received
- Is responsible for monitoring the overall stock level in the different DCs in North America and for rebalancing activities as well as suggesting and executing stock reduction initiatives
- Is responsible for gathering forecasts of future warehouse outbounds towards other DCs working with different stakeholders (Sales, other DCs distribution teams, Operations) tow
- Participates to weekly meetings with Operations, Sales, Corporate Distribution Planning, Transportation in order to have a clear understanding of the priorities of work

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree; major in Supply Chain, Ops, Business, & Finance preferred
- 2+ years' experience in Logistics/Supply Chain or similar environment
- Demonstrated experience working with multiple data sources
- Strong verbal & written skills, in addition to strong presentation ability
- Able to gather, manipulate, & interpret data, solve problems, & establish priorities
- Well organized, self-motivated, ability to adhere to deadlines & multi-task
- Good communication & team building skills
- Strong analytical & mathematical skills - able to extract conclusions from available data
- Advanced Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of Access, Business Objects, Visual Basics, SQL, Power BI is a plus. Prior Planning knowledge preferred
- SAP AFS, MS Office & planning systems experience
