We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented PR Assistant / Specialist to support our media and communications efforts across Mexico and LATAM. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Local PR/Media Manager and regional teams to drive press activities, manage media relationships, support product launches, and strengthen overall brand visibility.

Responsibilities

- Support media relations with tech/lifestyle outlets, journalists, KOLs, and content creators
- Coordinate press outreach, follow-ups, and maintain updated media lists
- Draft, edit, and proofread press materials (press releases, media alerts, Q&A)
- Manage product seeding, sample distribution, and device tracking
- Assist in planning and executing product launches and influencer campaigns
- Coordinate event logistics: invitations, guest lists, venue support, check-in, and onsite execution
- Monitor media coverage, track industry trends, and prepare PR performance reports
- Work with regional teams to localize content and ensure timely influencer deliverables

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in PR, communications, marketing, or related fields
- Experience in consumer electronics, mobile devices, lifestyle brands, or tech (highly preferred)
- Strong understanding of Mexico's media landscape (tech, lifestyle, digital, KOLs)
- Languages Required/Desired: Spanish & English
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with media monitoring tools and major social platforms
- Experience with Chinese brands, basic Photoshop/Canva skills, passion for technology is a plus
