Metrology Engineer
The Metrology Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and traceability of all measurement processes within the organization. The position also conducts dimensional verification of initial samples, analyzes measurement and physicochemical test reports, and identifies opportunities to integrate new technologies or equipment to strengthen measurement capabilities.
Plan and execute measurement programs, including operation of CMM, VMS, and mechanical testing equipment
Participate in internal and external audits related to metrology and quality systems
Verify maintenance and cleaning activities for laboratory equipment to ensure proper preservation and control
Manage calibration activities for on‐site samples
Promote and maintain 5S culture within the quality control laboratory
Maintain a high level of quality in all assigned tasks
Participate in internal design reviews and deliver clear presentations to engineers, technicians, and management
Identify and prioritize projects based on available data and organizational needs.
