What will you do?

- Execute month-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.
- Support compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and Mexican tax regulations.
- Collaborate with global RTR (Record-to-Report) teams in India to align processes and reporting standards.
- Partner with Payroll, Tax, and Plant Operations teams to ensure accurate financial records and compliance.
- Provide financial analysis to support operational decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

How will you do it?

- Monitor and analyze financial transactions related to maquiladora operations, ensuring compliance with local and corporate policies.
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP or similar) for data management, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Participate in internal and external audits, preparing documentation and supporting audit requirements.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (RTR, Tax, Payroll, Plant Operations) to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment of intercompany transactions, import/export activities, and maquiladora-specific cost structures.

What are we looking for?

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in RTR.
- Proficient with English both listening and speaking
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in Excel
