RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a Key Account Manager in our Irapuato, Mexico facility
Your Job
The Key Account Manager is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who can work independently, think creatively, and build meaningful relationships to manage and grow any of our customer accounts long-term. This role plays a key part in driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and long-term customer value.
What you Will do in Your Role
- Develop deep relationships with the Key decision makers at the customer in purchasing / engineering departments
- Work with the customer to understand vehicle pipeline / sourcing cadence for new opportunity’s
- Secure new opportunities with the customer that align to drive the highest value proposition for RESRG Automotive
- Manage/Negotiate the current book of OEM parts & develop plans to improve profitability
- Manage / Improve / Negotiate current production part account profitability through specific customer P&L management
- Manage the customer Engineering Change process for current production or awarded programs
- Support RESRG Automotive manufacturing plants, Finance and Quality departments in their customer relationship
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Proven hunter mindset with a track record of driving new business growth
- Experience in the automotive industry
- OEM experience preferrable VW and Nissan
- Strong background in new customer acquisition and pipeline development
- Ability to build and manage senior level customer relationships
- Skilled in commercial negotiations at multiple customer levels
- Experience with budgeting, profitability, and P&L impact
- Ability to speak fluent Spanish and English
