About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) based in Mexico City to develop and grow business opportunities within the government and public sector.

This role is suitable for a sales professional who understands how to work with government organizations, navigate public-sector environments, and build trusted relationships with government stakeholders.

Industry background is flexible — experience working with government customers is the key requirement.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage business opportunities with government and public sector customers
- Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and decision-makers
- Identify and pursue government projects, tenders, and business opportunities
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners to support government sales activities
- Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to project closure
- Monitor government initiatives, policies, and market developments

Requirements

- Proven experience in government or public sector sales / business development
- Strong understanding of how to engage with government organizations
- Experience with tenders, RFPs, or public procurement is a strong plus
- Industry background is open (technology, telecom, security, infrastructure, IT, etc.)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Fluent Spanish is required; English is a plus
- Willingness to travel within Mexico as needed
