This Position reports to:

Global Project Planning & Controls Mgr

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to deploy and lead the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including creating a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Each day, you will mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will also showcase your expertise by leading programs and projects to improve and sustain local business performance.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the success of ELSP HUB and Monterey Plants.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Identifying and working to remove roadblocks that prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives and overseeing cases of conflicting priorities.

- Promoting and leading improvement programs and projects within your own area of responsibility, with a hands-on (Gemba) and problem-solving approach.

- Leading a systematic fact-based approach to identify and evaluate opportunities for future improvement within the local organization.

- Providing guidance and supporting towards disseminating a continuous improvement mindset and culture at all levels, activities, and functions to promote behavioral change for continuous performance improvement at local level.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, IT degree or related.

- 8 years of experience within Computer Science / Engineering / Manufacturing related role.

- Experience in continuous improvement, leading projects on any IT field or related.

- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.

- Proven track record of performing project lead and/or change management role for mid to large size projects.

- Fluent in English and Spanish.
