About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team at Whitebox Group. As a strategic financial leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, developing financial strategies, managing financial risks, and ensuring the long-term financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives.
  • Oversee the company's fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
  • Assure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.
  • Manage the company's financial resources, including accounting, financing, and capital investment.
  • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives.
  • Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the finance team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and non-organizational accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as CFO, finance officer, or relevant role.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and financial management software.
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • BSc/BA in accounting, finance, or relevant field; MSc/MBA or relevant certification (CPA or CFA) is preferred.

You have a proactive, can-do attitude.
