Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. De R.L. De C.V. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of HR principles, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to senior stakeholders, managing wide-ranging projects independently, and applying their expertise in organizational development, workforce planning, and talent management.

As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture, driving positive employee relations, and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide input into org design discussions, including succession planning and attrition risks;
  • Implement communication plans for org changes and conduct diagnostics to identify trends and environmental ER or workplace issues;
  • Partner with management to drive positive ER, negotiate labor agreements, and proactively monitor and address ER or labor changes;
  • Leverage data insights to inform strategic decisions and implement components of strategy and action plans that address workplace environment, employee engagement, or retention issues;
  • Conduct investigations of employee relations issues in consultation with management and supports rollout of compliance initiatives;
  • Lead client group or site engagement activities and audits to monitor org health and engage with employees/associates;
  • Participate in interview loops and debriefs, approve offers, transfers, and compensation exceptions, and engage with managers to ensure launch plans are created;
  • Monitor vendor and 3rd party worker relationships for co-employment risk and may manage vendor relationships;
  • Facilitate or assist multiple department or group level talent discussions, drive identification and management of forward-looking promotions, and coach and develop business, site(s) leadership on performance and talent management;
  • Analyze data and share insights with leaders, train and/or consult with managers on employee life cycle issues, and identify gaps in policy and services;
  • Recommend exceptions to policies with input from senior leaders or HR management and roll out new policy changes/services and ensure business adoption.
Requirements
  • A completed bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college;
  • Master's Degree or MBA in HR;
  • Experience within Logistics and Distribution or Manufacture Industry;
  • 3+ years of experience working with unions;
  • Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data, and communicating data findings;
  • Experience establishing and tracking program metrics, including return on investment.
