As a Payroll Manager, you will lead the México Payroll & Benefits process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of payroll and benefits to approximately 4,000 employees across 10 legal entities in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process for Mexico, ensuring compliance with internal controls and local authorities.
  • Collaborate with the global Compensation and Benefits team to implement standardized processes and best practices.
  • Liaise with payroll providers and local resources to address questions and issues related to payroll and tax matters.
  • Lead and manage a team of payroll professionals supporting Mexico, ensuring effective recruiting and development of qualified payroll specialists.
  • Coordinate delivery of operational calendars and fiscal deliverables to Finance and operational teams.
  • Monitor the correct implementation of payroll and compensation practices and policies.
  • Identify and solve operational issues and improvement opportunities within the area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in Mexico Payroll & Benefits or HR Operations, with a broad understanding of payroll operational activities.
  • Knowledge of México labor law and workers' contract agreements.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Intermediate English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience building and maintaining positive working relationships.
