About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Mobile Developer to join our team at PayPal. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead mobile application development by converting ideas, designs, and requirements into concrete, stable production builds.
  • Design and oversee solutions for specific use cases that provide frameworks, interfaces, and services that can be extended and reused for future requirements.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate closely with product, architecture, and other cross-functional teams to deliver compelling solutions.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience with Android Application Development with Kotlin or iOS Application Development with Swift UI.
  • Knowledge of multi-threaded, asynchronous code and design patterns such as MVC and MVVM.
  • Understanding of either Android Systems APIs, Firebase Services, or offline RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
  • Skilled at writing Unit and Automation tests.
  • Knowledge of open-source and commercial libraries commonly used in the Android or iOS ecosystem.
Language and Workplace
  • Proficient (B2: Upper-Intermediate) in both written and spoken English.
