At Quantum Storage Mexico S. De R.L. De C.V, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Security and Collaboration Specialist to join our Information Technology Operations team.

About the Role

This role is critical to ensuring our organization maximizes the benefits of the Microsoft 365 suite while maintaining security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- SharePoint Online/OneDrive: Design, implement, and manage SharePoint Online sites, libraries, and lists, ensuring proper site permissions, security configurations, and governance policies. Optimize SharePoint Online for collaboration, document management, and workflow automation, providing support and training for end-users on SharePoint Online features and best practices.
- Microsoft Defender: Implement and manage Microsoft Defender to protect against threats and vulnerabilities, configuring and maintaining security policies, including anti-phishing, anti-malware, and anti-spam protections. Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts, ensuring timely remediation, conducting regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Microsoft Entra ID: Administer and manage Microsoft Entra ID, including user and group management, ensuring secure authentication and authorization for all Microsoft 365 services. Implement and manage multi-factor authentication and conditional access policies, monitoring and responding to security incidents and alerts related to Microsoft Entra ID.

Requirements

We require a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator, with expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender. Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features is essential, along with proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues are also required, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

A relevant Microsoft certification (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert) is highly desirable, and this position may require occasional on-call support and the ability to work flexible hours to address critical issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft 365 migration projects is preferred, as is knowledge of other Microsoft cloud services such as Azure and Microsoft Intune. Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices is also a plus.
