About the RoleWe are seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join our team in Ciudad de Mexico.
As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts related to the promotion and development of renewable energy projects, including land agreements, construction contracts, equipment supply contracts, and power purchase agreements.
You will also review and negotiate contracts related to the financing of the projects, manage the corporate activities of the Mexican companies, and draft all kinds of legal communications related to the development of the projects.
Additionally, you will negotiate other contracts such as LOIs, NDAs, Partnership Agreements, etc.
Requirements- Degree in Law.
- At least 2-3 years of previous experience in a law firm (Real Estate, Energy-Regulatory or Finance departments) or energy-related company.
- Full command of English.
- Availability to travel occasionally.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- A proactive person, with capacity for teamwork, dynamism, and ability to manage different tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Internal client orientation.
- Permanent contract.
