Job Role: Semiconductor Design Engineer for Memory Solutions

At Micron, we are committed to transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all. As a Semiconductor Design Engineer for Memory Solutions, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the development of new product opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the overall design, layout, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits
  • Assist in design validation, reticle experiments, and required tape-out revisions
  • Oversee and manage the layout process, including floor-planning, placement, and routing
  • Perform verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry-standard simulators
  • Contribute to cross-group communication to work towards standardization and group success
  • Work with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering groups to ensure accurate manufacturability of product
  • Proactively solicit guidance from Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to improve design quality
  • Drive innovation into the future Memory generations within a dynamic work environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience in University projects related to STEM, engineering
  • No experience needed
  • 2 years or less since graduation
  • Exposure to Memory architecture and understanding of memory subsystem
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Strong individual contributor as well as a team player
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
