**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hotel Host - Cashier Associate to join our team at JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa in Mexico. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing payments, and maintaining the accuracy of cash handling procedures.

**Salary**

The estimated salary for this position is around $35,000-$45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This compensation package reflects the high level of responsibility and expertise required for this role.

**Job Responsibilities**

This role will involve:

  • Processing all payment methods in accordance with accounting procedures and policies
  • Following property control audit standards and cash handling procedures
  • Obtaining assigned bank and ensuring accuracy of contracted monies
  • Counting bank at end of shift, completing designated cashier reports, resolving any discrepancies, dropping off receipts, and securing bank
  • Transporting bank to/from assigned workstation
  • Setting up and organizing cashier workstation with designated supplies, forms, and resource materials; maintaining cleanliness of workstation at all times
  • Completing opening duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, including bank, and ensuring everything is in working order

  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
