Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Naturalist to join our team at Zadun a Ritz-Carlton Reserve. As a Naturalist, you will be responsible for leading programs for kids, youth, adults, families, and group activities, such as snorkeling, kayaking, underwater photography and videography, botanic park tours, sustainable living lessons, arts & crafts, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead programs and activities that promote environmental awareness and conservation
  • Explain and promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility to ensure guest safety and welfare
  • Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in case of an emergency
  • Prepare for each activity, ensuring that all necessary materials are available and guiding the group at all times
  • Follow company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in environmental science, education, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental education, conservation, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Physical ability to move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds
