We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Risk Analyst to join our team at Citigroup Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs to prevent violations of law, rule, or regulation.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, deliver, and maintain best-in-class Compliance programs, policies, and practices for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM).
- Assist with regulatory inquiries and/or examinations.
- Collaborate with other internal areas, including Legal, Business Management, Operations, Technology, Finance, other Control Functions, and In-Business Risk, to address compliance issues.
- Prepare, edit, and maintain Compliance program-related materials.
- Develop and administer Compliance training for the supported function/business/product.
- Research rules and rule changes and assist in implementing policies, procedures, or other controls necessary to comply with the rules/regulations.
- Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with flexibility, innovation, and adaptability.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's degree; experience in compliance, legal, or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; Advanced degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in the banking sector for areas of investment, compliance, audit.
- Intermediate knowledge of investment products, stocks, and regulatory reports.
- Intermediate proficiency in Office software.
- High intermediate English language skills.
