We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at AMETEK.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting prototype, production equipment or custom assembly systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Assemble instruments and components in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).">
  • Examine parts for defects such as pinholes or chips.">
  • Test units to locate defects, measure performance, determine need for adjustment, and verify specified operation.">
  • Replace defective components and wiring.">
  • Calibrate units according to specifications as required.">
  • Enter information on production records, logs, and other report forms.">
  • Repair defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.">

  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve and promote quality; monitor own work to ensure quality.">
  • OBSERVE safety and security procedures; determine appropriate action beyond guidelines; report potentially unsafe conditions; use equipment and materials properly.">
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.">
  • Meet productivity standards; complete work in timely manner; strive to increase productivity; work quickly and efficiently.">

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
