Job Summary

Novartis Farmacéutica is seeking a highly skilled Regional Logistics Manager to lead the development and implementation of regional logistics strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient movement of radioactive drugs from manufacturing sites to treatment sites in the Americas region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regional logistics strategies to ensure timely and efficient movement of radioactive drugs.
  • Manage logistics 3PLs to provide high-level service and act as an escalation point for operational issues and customer complaints.
  • Work closely with manufacturing sites and logistics partners to map out lanes for each treatment site and develop contingency plans.
  • Monitor and capture regulatory updates and verify their impact on Novartis business.
  • Implement regular audits on transportation companies and provide training and support to Novartis staff and third-party employees.
Requirements
  • Higher education in nuclear medicine, pharmacy, medicine, biology, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in operational logistics management with radioactive drugs or similar time-critical operations.
  • Knowledge of local Customs & Environmental Protection Bureau and Health authority requirements for radioactive drugs importation and supervision.
  • Advance English and Portuguese language skills.
