Job Summary

As a key member of the property management team, this role contributes advanced knowledge and skills in technology and hospitality business acumen to support the property's technology and information resources objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for all technology planning, decision-making, implementation, and maintenance, and may manage property systems technicians and interfaces with vendors, owners, and property staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure client technology needs are met by utilizing computers and computer systems to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
  • Monitor, verify, and manage the acquisition and maintenance of property-based systems.
  • Analyze information, identify current and potential problems, and propose solutions.
  • Maintain, inspect, and repair equipment.
  • Inspect and verify the maintenance of equipment or the environment.
  • Verify solutions are consistent with the client's needs and brand-specific IR environment.
  • Maintain inventories and manage IT hardware/software.
  • Provide Internet support and maintenance (if applicable).
  • Provide cable management support.

Requirements

  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a like position.
  • Previous experience in IR Global Field Services or Marriott Systems Support is desirable.
  • System-related professional certifications are desired.
