Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Analyst to join our dynamic Security Team. The ideal candidate will assist in incident response activities, analyze security events, and document incident findings. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the overall security posture of our organization and expand knowledge in interdisciplinary fields.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform user access reviews and log reviews in accordance with our compliance programs.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and events.
  • Work closely with senior security team members to investigate and respond to security incidents.
  • Participate in incident detection, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
  • Document incident details, analysis, and resolution procedures in a clear and concise manner.
  • Maintain incident response documentation, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and update incident response playbooks.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to stakeholders during incident response activities.
  • Actively contribute to the improvement of incident response processes and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding incident details and resolutions.
Requirements
  • Recently graduated with a computer science-related degree (software engineering, computer software, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of security principles, techniques, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and data loss prevention.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and operating systems (macOS, Windows, Linux, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH) are a plus.
