Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Compliance Supervisor is responsible for verifying, tracking, and resolving inventory-related issues. This role oversees a team responsible for inventory accuracy and control, manages data reporting, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Genba Focus approach and Daily Management systems to ensure standard work is implemented on all inventory management functions.
  • Educate employees on inventory processes, material transactions, safety standards, and expectations.
  • Manage accurate cycle counting of raw materials and verification of inventory.
  • Develop, document, and implement inventory control procedures (SOP) and review inventory records.
  • Maintain accurate inventory within the Oracle Warehouse Management system.
  • Monitor performance of building using current report tools and develop additional reporting options.
  • Implement daily/weekly inventory analysis; resolve discrepancies and problems.
  • Help with the physical inventory process.
  • Monitor count productivity by direct reports and perform counts to ensure completion of inventory counts.
  • Develop action plans to address gaps in scanning, production confirmations, and other gaps.
  • Manage audits, including trailer audits, loading audits, inbound/outbound audits, and root-cause analysis of damaged inventory.
  • Conduct weekly random audits on warehouses, supermarkets, and floor locations.
  • Maintain individual, shift, and location audit records.
  • Coordinate the activities of all staff members engaged in inventory control and inventory record accuracy.
  • Advise the leadership team on safety compliance concerns, raw material inventory concerns, and required preventative actions.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
  • Inspect working conditions to ensure all activities are compliant with company and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control or a related warehouse operations position.
  • Previous management experience and ability to motivate and enhance team.
  • Experience with inventory policies, procedures, audits, and reporting.
  • Experience with problem analysis and resolution.
