Solventum, a new company with a long legacy of creating breakthrough solutions, is seeking a skilled Business Partner Compliance Specialist for Americas to join our team. As a key member of our compliance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and execution of our E&C compliance program in the Americas region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and deployment of local training, guidance, risk assessments, and communications on key E&C policies and processes.
  • Proactively identify compliance risks and work with commercial and operations stakeholders to mitigate such risks.
  • Review high-risk transactions and engagements, including conflicts of interest, third-party intermediary due diligence, business programs, and courtesies.
  • Support compliance governance processes to ensure leaders set the right tone and compliance has visibility into business strategies.
  • Monitor key compliance metrics and assist in developing action plans or strategies to address opportunities identified from monitoring efforts and investigations.
  • Act as a point-of-contact for employees with compliance questions and respond to those questions or direct employees to the right resources.

About the Role:

This remote position may require up to 20% domestic and international travel. You must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for an employment visa status.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
  • Seven years of proven experience working in a public or private environment in ethics and compliance, law, finance, audit, or other roles involved with company governance processes.
  • Experience working in healthcare or life sciences industry with a multi-national corporation.
  • Fluent knowledge and understanding of applicable healthcare laws and regulations related to interactions with government officials and organizations.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and execution skills.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple functions and countries, ability to influence divergent positions into a common standard.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products expertly, working familiarity with platforms such as Concur, PowerBI, SAP, or their equivalents.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
