Job Summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a skilled Materials Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of supply chain management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with stakeholders to compile, develop, and validate production/shipments plans that align with business objectives.
  • Identify business process enhancements and participate in their design and implementation.
  • Collaborate with planning to assess customer requirements and feasibility.
  • Support new product introduction and negotiate with customers on materials management-related activities.
  • Provide customers with technology information, supplier capabilities, and market trends to enhance SCM activities.
  • Review contract terms and conditions to ensure SCM's ability to meet requirements.
  • Partner with Business Office to negotiate Terms and Conditions for SCM activities.
  • Coordinate Bill of Material analysis and reviews content, lead time constraints, and critical parts supply.
  • Ensure alternate source capability to maintain supply continuity and verify customer costs.
  • Resolves issues with customers and internal teams.
  • Manages customer relationships from a Supply Chain perspective.
  • Obtains and disseminates customer SCM feedback to the team.
  • Champions improvements and communicates action plans.

Requirements:

  • Three to six years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Level 6, Level 10 & L11 integration manufacturing and services
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
