FedEx Express México is seeking a highly skilled Senior International Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing customs forms, international manifests, and other related paperwork to ensure timely and efficient customs clearance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare customs forms, including master airway bills, cargo manifests, and general declarations, to enable import, export, and transshipment procedures.
- Prepare forms detailing customs duties, tariffs, and taxes/V.A.T. fees to enable timely recovery of costs.
- Ensure compliance with country customs and tax laws and FedEx policies, procedures, practices, and rules.
- Interface with customs officials and coordinate customs activities with internal operation employees.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Four (4) years of experience in international freight/cargo customs policies, procedures, rules, and laws.
- Demonstrated experience in airport and customs clearance procedures.
- A driver's license.
This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you can expect:
