Financial Controller

The Financial Controller is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Office. Key responsibilities include financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control.

This role reports to the Director of Finance and requires a strong understanding of financial principles, policies, and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to management and stakeholders.

• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business decisions.
• Audit and Control: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures, and identify areas for improvement.
• Asset and Liability Reconciliation: Verify the accuracy of asset and liability balances and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Working Capital and Cash Control: Manage working capital and cash levels to ensure liquidity and minimize risk.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 4+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a hospitality industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software applications, such as Excel and Oracle.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
