Senior Customs Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Customs Coordinator to join our team at Robert Walters. As a key member of our customs department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customs processes.

• Legislative Compliance: Track changing legislation and regulations, and provide training to our team on new laws and procedures.
• Customs Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for our group companies regarding Mexican customs regulations, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Project Execution: Assist our group companies with projects, identifying areas where projects can be more efficiently completed at a group level, and executing strategies to comply with changing laws.
• Eligibility Analysis: Assist our group companies in analyzing IMMEX, CTPAT, and USCMA eligibility to improve their ability to secure future business.
• Regulatory Reporting: Report customs review status and keep our group informed of changing regulations in Mexico, analyzing the impact of such changes.

• Education: University Degree in a relevant field.
• Customs Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in customs, with a strong background in the manufacturing industry.
• Customs Certification: Customs Broker Certification.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong cross-cultural sensitivity.
• Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
