Cafeteria Support Staff Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time Paraprofessional Assistant to provide support in our cafeterias, playgrounds, bus areas, and other settings as assigned by the principal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the principal in maintaining a safe and orderly environment in the cafeteria and on school property and grounds.
  • Support the development of appropriate social behavior in the cafeteria and on school property and grounds.
  • Respond to emergency situations as per standing orders and other policies and procedures.
  • Perform other tasks and assume responsibilities as assigned or delegated by the Superintendent of Schools or principal.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Valid Act 34, 114, and Act 151 clearances.
  • Valid tuberculosis test and physical examination with ADA reasonable accommodations stipulated, as appropriate.
  • U.S. citizen or holder of a valid work visa.
  • Additional qualifications as determined by the board or superintendent.
