Collections Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Collections Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Accounts Receivable department, you will be responsible for overseeing the collection of accounts receivable for our global portfolio of monthly receivables.
As the primary point of contact for the sales team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage collections escalations in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in ensuring timely conversion of past due and current accounts receivable.
This is a remote position open to candidates based in Mexico. If you are a self-starting, motivated, and experienced Collections Supervisor looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day workload volumes and meet SLAs
- Update management on customer payment issues
- Act as primary AR contact for the sales team
- Perform consistent collections diligence to ensure timely conversion of past due and current accounts receivable
- Escalate past due accounts for review and approval for account suspension or when account resolution has not occurred within certain timelines
- Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to manage collections escalations in a timely manner
- Help with reporting for the Collections area
- Give continuity to projects to improve the overall Collections rationale and processes
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- 4+ years of experience working in Collections or other AR-related fields
- Knowledge of operational accounts receivable processes
- Previous Team Lead or Supervisor experience
- Experience with high volume collections portfolio (500+ accounts)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Netsuite experience
- Stripe experience
- Salesforce experience
- Intermediate Excel experience
- Passion to achieve a positive customer experience
- Strong attention to detail and results-oriented performance
- Effective communicator with the ability to work with customers and stakeholders
- Strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
