Collections Supervisor

The Collections Supervisor is a critical position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our collections team. This role requires a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to optimize collections management, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Lead and manage a team of collections professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure team members are meeting their goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, distribution, and lines of business, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities with broader organizational goals.
- Analyze data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and drive operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies in all collections activities, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field of study.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Supervisor/Coordinator or in a similar position in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of insurance finance/accounting and collections processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in using Power BI, MS Office, and advanced Excel (macros).
- CRM software experience and financial insurance analysis related to collections.
- Strong customer service and client relationship building skills.
- Ability to lead and develop the team, with a focus on continuous learning and development.
