Senior Mechanical Engineer

Belcan is seeking a highly skilled Lead Design Engineer to join our team in Querétaro, México. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design of component and systems for Turbomachinery technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and lead activities that include knowledge of mechanical analysis, gas turbine engine component design, hand calculations, engineering documentation composition, component durability assessment, and engine manufacturing/build and test.
- Implement product definition criteria in accordance with requirements for commercial attributes associated with producibility/manufacturability of the component.
- Manage and maintain projects in priority status as assigned by program management.
- Lead the design of component and systems for Turbomachinery technology, including hardware such as brackets, ducts, tubes, hoses, and harnesses.
- Maintain, report, and communicate project status and progress to both internal program management team and customer.
- Monitor and report progress against project schedule by monitoring activities and resolving problems to ensure that customer Project Milestones are met.
- Organize and maintain existing engineering records.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- Three or more years of engineering experience in the field of gas turbine engines or turbomachinery, specialty on Engine externals design and/or analysis.
- Ability to write technical reports and correspondence, including customer reports.
- Ability to read part prints and interpret GD&T is desired.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to contribute in a team environment.
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%.
- Experience with TeamCenter is desired.
