Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the construction industry. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing equipment lists and calculations, specifications, technical bid evaluations, contract administration of vendor deliverables, and drawings for major equipment, including pumps, process compressors, and other complex systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex calculations and apply industry standards correctly without supervision, taking the lead when working with peers.
- Review the work of engineers and designers developing engineering and design documents as needed for the project.
- Possess critical analytical skills and be adept at utilizing good decision-making tools, with a high level of data analysis skills.
- Regularly perform reviews of vendor documents to ensure specifications and data sheet requirements are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
- English proficiency at a C2 level is necessary.
- At least 7 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in the construction industry is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
